Passion Project Plan

Although I am still a complete novice in the field of code, I do have a strong interest in it! Because of my obsession with the sky, also the inspiration of an artwork https://www.openprocessing.org/sketch/434620, I wanted to make an interactive art about the mouse. It’s not complex and easy to use, but full of magic and fun. But the ultimate goal of my passion project is to prepare for my internship next semester (hope to teach children STEAM). So I want to design a very simple p5.js tutorial, which is easy to implement for my children through my own experience. After about 7 lessons, students will have practical skills in the use of popular open-source arts engineering tool p5.js, for new-media arts development. In the beginning, I may be just teaching students to use some basic drawing functions. But then students need to learn to do some simple programming. The final result of this tutorial is that each student can create a simple interactive mini-game on their own.

Therefore, my final passion project will be my own p5.js design work about the starry sky and a p5.js tutorial plan of about 7 lessons.
